Sherry is no stranger to Copperfield Hill.  This is her second time in this position!  Sherry was happy to re-join the Copperfield Hill family in 2016 when she returned to the Twin Cities after living in the Brainerd Lakes area. In her own words, “working with the residents and staff at Copperfield Hill feels like I have come back home.” And the feeling is mutual! Sherry is currently finishing her degree from Bethel University with a major in Christian Ministries and a minor in Organizational Leadership. In her spare time, Sherry enjoys chasing after her two children and attending all their sporting activities. She and her family love nature and enjoy discovering the many hidden gems in Minnesota by camping, hiking and kayaking.

Charlotte Hoes, Community Liaison

Charlotte holds degrees in English and Economics from the University of Arizona. While her current job at Copperfield Hill was her first foray into the senior housing industry, she has a long history of volunteerism, especially working with seniors. Working at Copperfield Hill allows her to keep that connection with seniors while helping to provide information to the surrounding and senior communities about the resources and services Copperfield Hill has to offer. A native of Wyoming, Charlotte now lives in Plymouth with her husband and two sons.

Jan Hartsook, Pastor

Pastor Jan has a BA in Biology from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter and a Master of Divinity degree from Luther Seminary in St. Paul.  Pastor Jan taught biology at Cooper High School in New Hope and Chaska High School for 10 years and then served for 29 years as a pastor at First Lutheran in Trimont, Kansas Lake Lutheran in rural Butterfield, and St. Philip's in Fridley.  She greatly enjoys being at Copperfield Hill and working with the caring staff and wonderful residents. Pastor Jan lives in Spring Lake Park with her husband who is also a pastor.  They have three children and TEN grandchildren! Her favorite pastimes include reading, walking, camping and being with family and friends.

When I found The Lodge at Copperfield Hill it was a true God-send. The whole move was fast and very short-notice. My mother was very confused. However, everyone put their arms around her and welcomed her. Quickly her confusion calmed down and she expressed feeling safe, liking her new home.
